Have you ever thought what your life would be like if you were born as someone else? What if you were born as one of those homeless people? What if you had no shelter, no clothes, no money, and no food? What if you had to suffer all the time and struggle, just to make it through the day? I know I have thought about all these things and that is why I believe in helping the less fortunate.
If you think about it, none of us actually had a say in who we were to be born as. We didn’t get to choose our own destiny, but one thing is certain, we can all do something to help make someone else’s life just a little bit better. I believe that we all have the power to help the less fortunate.
Many of us have been blessed with financial advantages and stable families, thus it is our duty to help those can’t help themselves. Every religion asks its followers to give some of their money to charity, be it Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. The main purpose of religion is to help us live our lives as good people and if our religion tells us to help the needy then it obviously means that doing so will make us better human beings. That is why I believe in helping the underprivileged.
I want to speak about helping underprivileged families.What do you think? There’re always two divergent opinions about helping them, one thing is ‘good’ and the other one is ‘bad’. I know it depends on one’s personality and opinion, and also totally agree with that. However, as I speak my opinion, I absolutely think that it is the most important thing ever because we can not live alone. we have to take care of poor by donating, fundraising, or volunteering.
Life as such is challenging and the humans have made it more complicated because life has fallen into class and categories where the rich are getting richer and the poor are dying for food. It is heart-wrenching to see this situation because people are suffering from hunger, lack of education and also some are homeless
Helping the less fortunate is very important, and I am not the only one who thinks so. Throughout the world there are so many influential people who are dedicated to helping the underprivileged, such as: Mother Teresa, Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie. We should consider these people to be our role models and follow in their footsteps in doing charitable work.
You don’t have to be rich to help others; just a smile goes a long way. If you see some homeless person on the street but don’t have any money to spare, give them a smile and I’m sure you’ll make their day a lot better. Besides providing them with money and treating them kindly, another way we can contribute is by giving them our time. i work for an NGO called NH, an orphanage that provides the children with shelter and education. I try to visit SOS at least once a month and spend some time with the children there. When I go there, I see little girls and boys starving for attention and craving for affection. Seeing them run towards me and watching their eyes light up as I sit by them, telling them stories, just warms my heart. I get that fuzzy feeling inside that tells me that I have indeed made a difference and that someone’s life is a little better because of me.
That is why helping the less fortunate is important. This, I believe
You are intelligent and have a good life. Now, that is perhaps something you are gifted with or some unknown force makes you achieve your dreams. But then, you should show gratitude towards the universe because it has given you in life what you want.
It does not make sense to donate to a deity because deities are neither hungry nor need financial help. In fact, you should help fellow humans who are in need. And that would be the most intelligent thing that you could ever do.
Donating would mean showing a sense of responsibility towards the betterment of the world. If you think that all the poverty and the problems would vanish through propagandas that are carried out by various organizations and governments, then you are not thinking in the right direction because propagandas are only ideas. In fact, you need to take the right action now.
And that could be possible only when you start donating now. When you donate money, you psychologically feel motivated because mind feels happy when it gives. In fact, as the law of nature would have it, the givers will get. That means the more you give, the more you would receive. In brief, that is the law of reciprocation
Helping a Needy Person”
There is a proverb that goes like this, “a friend in need is a friend indeed’. But it can be said that a human in need is a human indeed. Poverty is a big issue in the world so there are thousands and thousands of needy people who really deserve support and help.
Helping a needy person is like serving God. Kindness and empathy makes a human being more humane. When a person is in dire need, one who is better provided than him must help the needy person with all sorts of support he can serve. It is our duty as a human being and an Indian citizen that we help each other grow and thrive.
No matter what happens mankind always remains the best species of nature. Should I keep nature beautiful, kindness is to be practiced.
